I really only wanted to go on a school trip to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palace Theatre in London.
You can imagine my surprise, when someone said I first had to join the Poetry Society (poetry? me?), and everyone’s shock when my poem was actually published in the local Gazette. That theatre trip is still a fantastic memory, and I guess my love of writing has never left me.
Nowadays, one of my strengths is getting other people’s thoughts and ideas onto paper. I can re-order their writing so it flows a lot better – whatever’s necessary to make them shine. I get a real buzz seeing other people achieve their goals.
I’ve been working in the newspaper production and printing industry for over 30 years now, and have years of experience helping various authors of different backgrounds with their books – from proofreading and editing, through to page design and typesetting. I am also sub-editor for Keep The Faith – a national, award-winning niche magazine, and in my spare time, I enjoy designing mugs.
If you are ready to work with a freelance writer, please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll arrange to have an informal chat, and take it from there.
I look forward to hearing from you.
